The Southern Nevada Strong Regional Plan is a regional strategic community plan that addresses critical challenges in light of Southern Nevada’s current and projected growth.

Regionally, local and regional governments, along with community based organizations, can influence economic diversity, development and investment in order to ultimately create improved quality of life and increase opportunity for all. As the core administrator of the regional policy plan, the RTC provides technical assistance, research and support for all regional partners to implement the plan.

The Southern Nevada Strong Regional Policy Plan was formally adopted by 13 governmental partners that continue to individually and cooperatively implement the plan’s vision and goals. Alongside other community partners, these agencies now compose the Southern Nevada Strong Steering Committee, which provides a forum for continued sharing of best practices within planning, programs, and engagement.
